The Microneedling Process

At Pure Skin, our experienced registered nurses utilize the Exceed Microneedling pen with hyaluronic acid (or your own plasma and Selphyl) for the microneedling experience. Our step-by-step process is as follows:

Step One: A small amount of your own blood is drawn and centrifuged to separate out the plasma from the rest of the blood. By using your own plasma, which contains growth factors tied to your own body’s unique makeup, this procedure is able to rejuvenate skin. Microneedling can either be performed with your own plasma or hyaluronic acid.

Step Two: During this stage, skin is numbed and then treated with the microneedles. They reduce acne scars, as well as wrinkles and fine lines. We use the Exceed Microneedling device with hyaluronic acid for this step.
